Week 22: 5/26/2025- 5/30/2025
  • Vanguard registers the Vanguard Emerging Markets Ex-China ETF
  • State Street Global Advisors files the SPDR SSGA Short Duration IG Public & Private Credit ETF, which will invest in credit instruments and will seek to maintain a duration between one and three years
  • UBS Asset Management (Americas) intends to sell its O’Connor investment platform to a newly-created affiliate of Cantor Fitzgerald, which will replace UBS as investment advisor to the CreditSuisse Commodity Return Strategy fund ($1.3B), effective by the end of 2025
  • Robert V. Gahagan, senior vice president, and Michael Liss, vice president of American Century will retire and will no longer help manage $31.2B AUM of funds, effective at the end of 2025
  • The parent indexes of each of the Invesco MSCI North America Climate ETF ($1.3B) and the Invesco MSCI Global Climate 500 ETF ($1.2B) will no longer exclude companies in the business of fossil fuel generation and will lower the thresholds for the exclusion of companies in the business of thermal coal-based power generation
  • Michael Stein will replace Daniel Bloomgarden in co-managing the JPMorgan Mid Cap Growth fund ($10.9B)
  • Janus registers the thematic Janus Henderson Global Artificial Intelligence ETF, which will invest in approximately forty to sixty companies that enable, enhance, or incorporate artificial intelligence technologies
  • Grayscale Advisors registers the thematic Grayscale Quantum Computing ETF, which will be sub-advised by Vident Advisory and will track an index that measures global companies producing proof-of-concept or commercialized quantum computing technologies, as well as producers of the sub-components that are vital to the development and operation of quantum computers

  • Goldman Sachs registers the multi-sub-advised GS Multi-Manager High Yield Bond fund
  • Franklin Templeton files the Franklin Multisector Income ETF, which will invest in a diversified global portfolio of debt securities across multiple fixed-income sectors
  • John Hancock registers the John Hancock Global Loan ETF, which will be sub -advised by CQS (US) and will invest in in a diversified portfolio of senior loans
  • Lazard Asset Management files the Lazard Global Infrastructure ETF, which will be managed by the same team overseeing the $9.6B Lazard Global Listed Infrastructure fund, and will follow a similar investment strategy
  • Effective July 2025, Martin Currie, an affiliate of Franklin Templeton, will undergo an organizational restructuring and will retire its branding
  • Barrow Hanley Mewhinney & Strauss will leave the sub-advisory team of the Mercer Emerging Markets Equity fund ($1B)
  • The Baron Focused Growth fund ($2.2B) will modify its investments from 65% to at least 60% in equity securities of small- and mid-sized growth companies with market capitalizations up to the largest market cap stock in the Russell Midcap Growth Index
  • Hamilton Lane Advisors and Diameter DCF Advisors each file an interval fund: the Hamilton Lane Credit Income fund and the Diameter Dynamic Credit fund

  • Paul Whitehead will leave the team managing 276 BlackRock iShares funds, including the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF ($560.8B), effective June 30, 2025
  • First Trust registers the thematic First Trust RBA Deglobalization ETF, which will track an index focused on investing in U.S. companies believed to be beneficiaries of inflation and increased geopolitical conflict
  • DWS Asset & Wealth Management registers the Xtrackers Nifty 500 India ETF, which will track an index that measures the performance of the top 500 companies traded on the Indian national stock exchange
  • Accelerate Holdings Corp plans to acquire CI Financial Corp, the parent company of Segall Bryant & Hamill, which is expected to close on or about June 20, 2025
  • Kewjin Youh will retire and will no longer co-manage ten Lord Abbett funds, including the Lord Abbett Short Duration Income fund ($42.2B), effective September 30, 2025
  • Effective November 7, 2025, the Sanford C. Bernstein Intermediate Duration fund ($4.2 billion) will change its name to AB Core Bond fund, and will remove disclosure stating that it seeks to maintain an average portfolio quality rating minimum of A
  • AllianceBernstein files the AB International Growth ETF
  • The T Rowe Price Emerging Market Bond fund ($4.7B) will reduce the individual fund fee component of its advisory fee by 5 basis points (bps) to 0.36%

  • Wellington Management Company registers the fund of funds structured interval WVB All Markets fund, which will utilize a flexible investment strategy to obtain exposure to public and private equity and fixed income market investments managed by Blackstone and Vanguard
  • BlackRock files the iShares Mortgage-Backed Securities Active ETF
  • State Street Global Advisors files eleven option-income ETFs, which will each invest in a specified sector fund and will utilize selling call options on the fund to generate additional income
  • JPMorgan National Municipal Income fund ($2B) will be reorganized into the JPMorgan Municipal ETF ($2.7B), on October 24, 2025
  • Each of Delaware Investments Fund Advisers, Allspring Global Investments, and Copeland Capital Management will leave the sub-advisory teams of the SEI SIT International Equity fund ($3.4B), SEI SIIT Global Managed Volatility fund ($2.1B), and SEIT SIMT Large Cap fund ($1.4B), respectively
  • The Franklin Core Plus Bond fund ($2.5B) modifies its eleven-breakpoint management fee schedule to a four-step breakpoint fee, reducing from 0.350% on assets up to $5 billion (previously, from reducing from rates of 0.625% to 0.350%)
  • StepStone Group files the socially conscious and interval StepStone Private Equity fund, which will primarily invest in secondary investments and co-investments to avoid negative returns and cash flows associated with primary investments
  • Steven M. Hlavin will join the management teams of two TIAA/Nuveen municipal bond funds, including the Nuveen High Yield Municipal Bond fund ($13.7B)
