  • BlackRock registers the actively-managed iShares Enhanced Emerging Markets Active ETF and the iShares Enhanced International Active ETF which will both utilize forecast models to overweight and underweight particular stocks in an index
  • Matthew Reed and Samuel Wald will join the portfolio management team of the Fidelity Balanced fund ($61.3B)
  • The BlackRock Strategic Income Opportunities fund ($44.4B) will have the flexibility to modify its duration from zero to seven years [previously, from (minus) two to positive seven years]
  • Franklin Templeton registers the Franklin DATCO Index ETF, which will track an index composed of digital asset treasury companies
  • The iShares AI Innovation and Tech Active ETF ($7.8B) will decrease its management fee by three basis points to 0.65%
  • Franklin Templeton plans to reopen the ClearBridge Small Cap Growth fund ($2.3B) to new investors, effective December 11, 2025

  • State Street Investment Management registers the State Street Stablecoin Reserves Money Market fund, which will invest in assets in which payment stablecoin issuers are permitted to invest
  • Twenty-two State Street Investment Management ETFs will change their names by adding “State Street” and replacing Fund with ETF, including The Technology Select Sector SPDR fund ($97B) which will be renamed as the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF
  • Franklin Templeton files the actively-managed Franklin BSP CLO ETF which will be sub-advised by Alcentra
  • Industry veteran Mark R. Kiesel, Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for Global Credit at PIMCO, has announced his retirement and will no longer help manage $66.1B in fund AUM
  • Ninety One North America will join the sub-advisory team of the American Beacon Developing World Income fund ($1.3B) and will employ top-down and bottom-up processes, embedding ESG risk management in portfolio construction with a nine-factor scoring of ESG trends
  • First Trust registers the First Trust International Rising Dividend Achievers ETF, which will track an index that measures the performance of international securities that have raised their dividend value over the past three and five years and have increased their earnings-per-share over the past three years
  • Janus files the actively-managed Janus Henderson AA-A CLO ETF
  • Tidal Investments files eight sub-advised VistaShares ETFs which will invest in securities that comprise an index derived from a specific endowment or sovereign wealth fund company’s top twenty equity holdings based on their latest 13F filing

  • Federated Hermes announces the retirement of industry veterans Todd A. Abraham, Hans P. Utsch, and Mary Jo Ochson in 2026, affecting $30.9B of funds in AUM
  • Blackstone Credit Systematic Strategies will replace T. Rowe Price Associates on the sub-advisory team of the SEI SIIT High Yield Bond fund ($2.1B) and SEI SIMT High Yield Bond fund ($1.1B)
  • Effective February 4, 2026, the Goldman Sachs ActiveBeta World Low Volatility Plus Equity ETF ($1.4B) will track the Goldman Sachs ActiveBeta World Equity index and will change its name and ticker, and will lower its management fee by 10 bps to 0.15%
  • DWS Asset & Wealth Management registers the Xtrackers Europe Defense Technologies ETF
  • Tidal Investments files twelve actively-managed ETFs, including eight sub-advised VistaShares ETFs which will each invest in securities that comprise an index derived from a specific hedge fund company’s top twenty equity holdings based on their latest 13F filing
  • GraniteShares Advisers files ten daily leveraged ETFs, which will each seek three times exposure to at most five underlying stocks from a specified sector
  • Aristotle Pacific Capital registers an interval fund, the Aristotle Pacific Enhanced CLO Income fund
